The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association’s flagship trade expo is back in April next year with some new initiatives and tweaks to the format.
Returning to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre and co-located with the Collison Repair Expo, the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo is now officially confirmed to take place from 7 – 9 April.
A new 4WD Innovation Zone will provide a dedicated area for the off-road vehicle modification, accessory and tuning companies operating in a sector that is currently enjoying a business boom.
There will also be a seminar stage on the show floor for the first time, where industry training, education and exhibitor demonstrations will take place.
Reflecting the 2022 expo’s ‘The Workshop of the Future is Here’ theme, a dedicated pavilion will display state-of-the-art equipment and technology plus presentations from industry experts about EV repair techniques, ADAS calibration and diagnostics, J2534 pass-through diagnostics systems and workshop management software.
“We are excited to be able to move forward with our preparations for the Expo – an event run by the industry, for the industry,” said AAAA chief executive Stuart Charity.
“After a challenging couple of years for everyone, our industry is more excited than ever to come together to celebrate, learn, conduct business and network.”
The popular modified and classic vehicle display will again be in the show concourse area and the event is promised to be full of celebrity appearances, interactive displays and competitions.
“We can’t wait for April to open the doors and finally welcome our industry back together. We know visitors will have a fantastic time and arm themselves with the knowledge to thrive, ready for the exciting future that awaits,” said Mr Charity.
“We are very excited to announce that Repco has thrown their support behind the show, taking out the Major Sponsor package for AAAE 2022, and we’d like to thank them for their outstanding support.”
