Autocare 2025, Australia’s premier automotive training convention returning to Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on 20-21 June, will deliver an exclusive opportunity for technicians to master advanced diagnostics and vehicle systems.
Hosted by the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association, Autocare will feature a comprehensive Workshop Management Program designed to help business owners discover new strategies to grow their business, attract top talent, enhance productivity, and increase profitability.

The highly anticipated Technical Training Program will provide hands-on learning from top international and Australian trainers with a strong emphasis on J2534 programming for popular vehicle brands while the Workshop Management Training Program will cover key trends, AI integration, staff retention, leadership innovation, and the impact of EVs and ADAS technology on workshops.
During the two days of cutting-edge training and policy discussions will be the Autocare 2025 tradeshow – featuring over 120 exhibitors including VASA – and extensive networking opportunities bringing together workshop owners, technicians, and aftermarket leaders.
Leading international trainers, including Brandon Steckler, Keith Perkins, and Tomi Oliva from the United States, will join Australia’s foremost experts such as Jeff Smit, Brendan Sorensen, Darren Todd, Clint Flower and Sumin Kim to offer deep insights into diagnostic workflows and the latest technology trends.

Beyond programming, the training sessions will cover other highly sought-after topics including scan tool data interpretation, developments in EV and hybrid vehicle systems, battery and charging system advancements, network failure diagnosis, picoscope essentials for waveform analysis, diesel and emission control system diagnostics, and precision air-conditioning diagnosis.
Running alongside Autocare will be the National Light Vehicle Modifications Summit, tackling key regulatory challenges, including the national review of VSB 14, state-by-state inconsistencies in modification laws, and the evolving ROVER approval process.
Additional topics will cover GCM/GVM upgrades, ADAS calibration, EV modifications, and the implications of the recently introduced New Vehicle Efficiency Standard on larger diesel and petrol vehicles.

For workshop owners, equipping staff with advanced diagnostic skills translates into higher profitability, improved efficiency, and the ability to offer more comprehensive in-house services, strengthening customer trust and business growth.
These sessions are designed to demystify advanced vehicle programming, helping technicians develop a structured approach while taking full advantage of Australia’s MVIS right to repair law and access to full manufacturer repair and service information.
Autocare 2025 is expected to attract thousands of technicians, business owners, and industry leaders seeking to future-proof their operations. For more information or to secure a place at the event, visit www.autocare.org.au.
