Latest MACS bulletin features handy engine overheating diag tips
- PostedPublished 29 January 2016
THE January 2016 MACS Service Bulletin from VASA’S North American partners provides some useful insights into diagnosing engine overheating issues on two popular brands that use the same drivetrains in the Australasian market.
It boils down (no pun intended) to tiny coolant leaks into the cylinders caused by head warpage or gasket problems and is well worth a read for anyone who is, or has, scratched their head trying to get to the bottom of why a vehicle runs hot when all other avenues have been explored. The reasons for the failures are also discussed.
VASA members have exclusive access to technical papers from MACS through their website login.
