The Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC)’s 2024/25 summer ‘Look for The Tick’ campaign resultes in significant increases in consumer engagement, with website visits increasing 62.66 per cent over the previous year to 136,000.

Licence checks through this service jumped by 58.75 per cent to nearly 13,000 checks completed this year alone, while more than 18,500 business directory searches and more than 13,000 free AC guide downloads were recorded.

The ARC says the results “underscore the growing public recognition of ARCTick licensed professionals and reflect the ARC’s commitment to educating consumers and connecting them with trusted, certified businesses”.

ARC chief executive Glenn Evans said the campaign’s success pointed to increased customer awareness about the importance of choosing licensed professionals

“Licensed technicians ensure quality service and help prevent risks like substandard workmanship and refrigerant leakage, both of which pose risks to consumers and the environment,” he said.

“We’re proud of the success of the ‘Look for The Tick’ campaign in empowering consumers to make informed choices and connect with trusted, certified businesses and professionals.”
