New head office for VASA

VASA has seized upon an opportunity to set up a new head office at Ormeau, just north of the Gold Coast where the association began 20 years ago.

The office houses the VASA secretariat and will be the primary venue for Board meetings. It also offers a unique environment for member training.

The establishment of VASA’s new headquarters was made possible through an agreement with SuperCool to provide office facilities and administration services at its state-of-the art HVAC refrigeration and test centre at Ormeau.

Owned by VASA co-founder, legend and director, Mark Mitchell, SuperCool was the primary training venue at this year’s Wire & Gas convention.

“Having our own dedicated office space and permanent venue for Board meetings will certainly help streamline our operations, as well as provide economic and efficiency advantages. This in turn will free up resources to further improve service to our members,” said President Ian Stangroome.

“The office also serves as a great meeting place for members and anyone conducting business with VASA.”

Managing the secretariat at Ormeau will be Fran Moser, with support from Donna Reynolds. VASA marketing will continue to be managed by Communications Director, Tony Wragg (based in Sydney).
