CHRISTCHURCH will host this year’s New Zealand HVAC&R Trade Exhibition and Industry Conference, to be held between Thursday May 14 and Saturday May 16 2015.
The first two days will take place at the Air Force Museum in Wigram, including the trade exhibition featuring 53 companies across 68 trade stands and the finals of the 17th Wallie Askew Memorial Workskills Competition.
On the Saturday the Rydges Latimer hotel will host the AGM, formal functions and Industry Awards evening.
The HVAC&R Exhibition and Conference is organised by the Climate Control Companies Association (CCCA), New Zealand’s Institute of Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers (IRHACE) and Refrigerant License New Zealand (RLNZ).
Delegates get free entry to the Air Force Museum, a technical tour of Temperzone, a visit to the Christchurch Art Gallery, St Elmos Court and the CCCA building.
The Partners’ tour on the Friday takes in shopping at The Colombo and The Tannery, lunch at The Cup, a tram ride through Christchurch and punting on the Avon river with champagne and nibbles (weather permitting).
Access to the trade exhibition is free.
Holding the event in Christchurch contributes toward the city’s economic recovery from the devastating September 2010 earthquake.
