Practical session: Renowned trainers Brendan Sorensen and Jeff Smit from The Automotive Technician (TaT) will deliver a technical session explaining diagnostic techniques using oscilloscopes and pressure transducers for testing sensors and other electronic components, plus the quick analysis of mechanical faults.

Practical session: Considered the European equivalent to Grant Hand, Michael will conduct a practical session on variable-displacement compressors and the importance of considering the chemical composition of products such as UV dye and oil before using them in automotive air-conditioning systems.
This year’s Wire & Gas Partner Program starts with a two-hour lunch cruise around the Gold Coast’s beautiful network of canals and rivers on an air-conditioned boat aboard which you will enjoy some of the region’s finest produce, including fresh trawler prawns, salads and fruit platters along with a range of delicious cocktails and locally brewed craft beers.
Once back on dry land it is time to head 230 metres above sea level for stunning 360-degree views of the entire Gold Coast, from the surf to the hinterland and beyond at the SkyPoint observation deck atop the gigantic Q1 skyscraper. Here you will have a $20 voucher to spend at the bar while enjoying the sights from your vantage point in one of the world’s tallest residential buildings.
The cost per person is $150 (on a purely cost recovery basis) including transfers. The trip will take place on Saturday, July 30, departing the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa at 11.45am and returning around 4.15pm.
