The Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) administers the national refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC) industry permit scheme under the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Program, on behalf of the National Environmental Protection Agency (National EPA).
The ARCtick licensing scheme licenses more than 114,000 individuals and businesses to work on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment that uses ozone depleting or synthetic greenhouse gases. The ARC acts as the industry board for the RAC industry, with membership comprising the key industry associations across Australia involved in stationary and automotive RAC applications.
The ARC offers useful online information resources and business templates covering current developments in the RAC sector and ARC initiatives. It can also provide air conditioning service stickers, signage and consumer brochures to support your business and customer communication.
