In addition to the successful Wire & Gas networking opportunities and popular trade show, the Saturday night Gala Awards dinner will for the first time incorporate the Australian Refrigeration Council’s new annual ARC Award for Refrigerant Management (mobile sector), as well as the inaugural REDARC Young Technician of the Year Award and new Grant Hand Industry Mentor Award.

Wire & Gas 2024 will host the official launch of Cool Mavericks, the world’s most comprehensive history book on the topic of automotive air-conditioning. A glittering cocktail party on the opening evening will celebrate this significant publication with a bespoke beverage created to honour the book’s title and the people featured within its pages. The convention will also recognise 30 years of VASA as the voice of our industry.
