VASA members who are also members of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) are invited to enter the revamped and expanded biannual AAAA Awards competition that will conclude at the 2015 Automotive Aftermarket Expo in Melbourne next April.
If your business involves manufacturing, re-manufacturing, wholesaling, distribution, mechanical repair and modification or parts, accessories, tools, equipment and services retailing you are eligible to enter as an organisation or individual.
Prize categories in the Excellence Awards comprise outstanding service to industry, young achievers, marketing, manufacturing and export.
The Innovation Awards categories are for mass media, direct marketing and digital marketing campaigns plus supply chain engagement, trade catalogues, new packaging and new aftermarket products.
For the first time, entries to the new product category are open members not exhibiting at the Automotive Aftermarket Expo, subject to a $500 entry fee that is waived for exhibitors.
Innovation awards will be presented at a breakfast on Thursday 16 April, with Excellence awards presented at that evening’s gala banquet.
AAAA executive director Stuart Charity said the award programme’s objective is to “foster excellence and innovation within the industry”.
“In today’s challenging automotive business environment, this expanded awards program is an important part of the AAAA’s commitment to promoting a sustainable future for Australia’s automotive parts, accessories, tools and equipment industry.”
Entries must be submitted before Friday 20 February 2015 at www.aftermarketawards.com.au.
VASA will have a stand at the Expo, which takes place at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 16-18 April 2015.
We will launch a range of exclusive new member services aimed at helping technicians and workshops conquer the challenges of increased vehicle computerisation and complexity.
One of the new VASA member benefits will be exclusive access to an online information exchange giving you a direct line to industry experts, helping you solve tricky problems and share your ideas.
This service will be complimented by regular model-specific technical bulletins produced in partnership with Autodata.
As always, VASA’s high-quality training offering, popular Wire & Gas conferences and well regarded newsletters ensure you stay at the cutting edge of industry developments.
