Redarc Electronics has continued its award winning streak, being named Exporter of The Year at the 15th annual Manufacturers Monthly Endeavour Awards and taking home a prize for its innovative “Redvision” total vehicle management system (TVMS) at the 2018 Good Design Awards.
The Adelaide-based company was a finalist in three categories at this year’s Manufacturers Monthly Endeavour Awards ceremony; Global Supply Chain Integration of the Year, Exporter of the Year and Most Innovative Manufacturing Company.
Redarc managing director Anthony Kittel – who was keynote speaker at the recent VASA Wire & Gas conference in Queensland – said he was delighted with the recognition Redarc had received for its continual innovation in manufacturing products for international markets.
“We take great pride in receiving this prestigious award, it’s testament to the hard work and dedication to innovation which is embraced by all departments of the company. It underlines our efforts to achieve excellence not only in export but all facets of the organisation,” he said.
Redvision enables owners to control and monitor all of the features in their motorhome, caravan or camper – with its capabilities ranging from the simple switching of lights and devices through to monitoring of water and temperature levels.
The system’s integration of features was one of the reasons it was announced as a Good Design Award Winner at the 60th anniversary Good Design Australia awards. Judges, while presenting the award, said: “This is a clean integrated solution that is reliable and robust, with a clever interface that is simple to use.”
Owners can also configure the Redvision to control several functions automatically, using its bespoke display or iOS/Android mobile app. For example, Redvision could switch all the lights and the TV off with the press of one button. When coupled with a Redarc Manager battery system, Redvision can also relay power consumption and battery level information to the owner.
“This award is a true testament to the R&D and innovation we put behind each and every one of our products,” said Kittel. “Our Vision for Redarc is to produce highly innovative products and Redvision is one great example of that.”
The Redvision TVMS system is now available in a range of caravans and camper trailers, including the award-winning Patriot Campers X1.
