SightGlass Training 2015 dates confirmed

VASA is pleased to announce that SightGlass Training Module 1 will be delivered in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne this coming August.

SightGlass Training Module 1 is the first half of a two-part introductory course designed for those new to the industry and as a refresher for existing technicians.

The training is delivered by VASA President Ian Stangroome and VASA Vice President Brett Meads and covers:

Business basics
Customer relations
HVAC fundamentals
System components and operation
Basic HVAC electrical
Basic equipment use
Basic diagnostics
Preparing repair estimates and selling the repair
Equipment maintenance
On-car activity
Q&A session.

This full-day training session runs from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The registration fee of $395 (inc GST) for VASA members and $450 (inc GST) for non-members includes training, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.
