Call for feedback on how to improve vocational education and training in Australia
- PostedPublished 28 January 2021
Australian employers, employees, business owners, learners, apprentices, job seekers, peak bodies, unions, employer associations and registered training organisations are invited to have their say on vocational education and training (VET) reform.
The deadline for submissions is 12 pm AEDT on Monday 1 March 2021.
A discussion paper has been released with topics to be covered in these submissions, to help refine work on the VET reform project that has been taking place over the last 18 months or so under a Heads of Agreement signed by the Commonwealth and all state and territory governments.
Strengthening the VET sector will help ensure Australia has a highly skilled workforce ready for the job market as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic and into the future.
